Roosevelt Middle Schoolyard Halloween Fest

Celebrate Halloween at Roosevelt Middle School on Saturday, October 29 from 11am-1pm with the Shared Schoolyard Project. This exciting Halloween Festival and kick-off event marks the grand re-opening of the schoolyard for the public to use on weekends! The event will include free lunch for the whole neighborhood, a wide variety of halloween games and activities for all ages, a ribbon cutting ceremony, and a costume contest, so be sure to wear your best costume!

  • Richmond District Neighborhood Center: Haunted carnival games
  • Richmond District YMCA: Frightfully fun fitness 
  • Roosevelt Middle School PTSA: Pumpkin painting
  • SF Baseball Academy: Go orange and black for halloween baseball
  • SF Bike Coalition/Safe Routes to School: Getting to school should only be spooky on Halloween
  • SF Fire Department: Eerie fire engine 
  • SF Skate Club: Bring your skate boards and gear to ramp up the halloween spirit
  • SF Youth Soccer: Shocking Soccer
  • Tantrum: Terror-ific toys and face-painting 
  • The Culinary Dude: Kooky cooking activity
  • Wee Scotty: Sewing craft that will leave you on pins and needles 
  • Y-Bike: Trick-or-treating made easier with free bike lessons for kids

We will also have a free raffle at this event! Everyone who comes to this event gets a chance to win one of the prizes below. The winner of the costume contest will get first pick of the prizes!
